Our first 2027 Charity: Tim Young’s battle with cancer 

This year, half the proceeds from Law Show will support Tim Young’s fundraiser for his battle with cancer. Tim is our Law School’s IT Advisor and Webmaster, Tim has been a consistent supportive presence to our students and faculty, always doing everything in his power to help us with all sorts of technical issues. 

Many individuals in our school and legal community can remember a time when TIm Young has been our saviour. When our exam software didn’t work and the clock was about to tick, when an essential presentation was having trouble right before the big event, TIm has always been there. Now is our opportunity to be there for TIm.

Your support will help Tim in his darkest hour. Additional care and testing has helped Tim to improve his health markers and outlook, but he has suffered financial devestation due to the cost. This year’s show hopes to help Tim with this burden and support him through his battle

Our second 2027 Charity: Alberta Cancer Foundation 

This year, half proceeds from Law Show will support the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

The Alberta Cancer Foundation is dedicated to advancing cancer treatment, research, and care in Alberta. ACF leverages Alberta’s entrepreneurial spirit to help bring new treatments to Alberta as soon as possible. Along with supporting specialized treatment for oncology staff, wellness initiatives, and improved equipment.

Your support helps support essential cancer research and to bring breakthroughs closer to Albertans dealing with cancer, and their families.
